TRAINING NEARLY OVER FOR ATHLETES
There's now just over one week to go and Red Bull X-Alps athletes are putting the finishing touches to their training.

For four athletes, their efforts have been recorded on a special training blog by Suunto who provided Aidan Toase (GBR1), Honza Rejmanek (USA), Christian Amon (AUT2) and Michael Gebert (GER) with equipment and a training plan from expert coach, Eddie Fletcher.

In the latest entry, endurance specialist Toase has showed no signs of changing his tactics, notching up huge walk/ runs of over 90km.

1-2-3 FOR RED BULL X-ALPS ATHLETES AT EL YELMO FESTIVAL
Showing their form days before the start of the Red Bull X-Alps on July 19 in Salzburg, Thomas de Dorlodot (BEL), Ramon Morrilas (ESP) and Pál Takáts (HUN) finished first, second and third respectively at the El Yelmo Festival Mountain Race in Andalucia, Spain on July 4.

Consisting of an 11km mountain run with a height gain of 800m, followed by a short flight with one turnpoint, the trio trounced the field, which consisted of a number of pro-runners.

"It was great to have the three Red Bull X-Alps pilot at the goal," said Thomas. "We realised that the training for the Red Bull X-Alps has paid off."
